Clam cakes' history holds the key to this mystery. The Great Clam Cake and Fritter Guide author Carolyn Wyman will explain in a forty-five-minute illustrated presentation based on her clam cake history, cookbook, and travel guidebook at the North Kingstown Free Library where she did some of her research. Wyman will also talk about the stories behind South County clam cake destinations like Aunt Carrie's, George's, and Cap'n Jack's. A book signing will follow the talk.
