Mr. Lemon was literally a mom and pop operation when it opened in 1973. The business has since been passed on to the second generation, siblings Joe, Colleen, and Janice, who continue the tradition of serving sweet and cool treats from the same little white building on Hawkins Street. Generations of kids have patronized the business, and often those who have grown up come back and bring their own kids.

Vanilla, Root Beer, and Lemon Meringue.

Mr. Lemon is open from April to October, 10:00am to 9:00pm, seven days a week.

In the 80's my family rented the house across the street from Mr.Lemon. Every Summer we looked forward to seeing the two U.S. Flags waving out front. Summer officially started when Mr. Lemon opened for the season. My favorite was Pina Colada! Atleast every day we were over there chatting with the owners and enjoying their frozen treats! Now I live in Arizona where it is Summer year round. How I miss Mr.Lemon! There is nothing out here as refreshing as Mr.Lemon's Frozen Treats!

years ago i would wait for a white truck with a lemon smiling at me. i would chase it and scream "wait for me", a smiling man with a straw hat would say "hello son, what would you like"? all i want is a lemonade and so it went everyday every summer. today i drive to see mr. lemon . times have changed but not the taste of the coolest refreshing cup of ice that can be made and mixed with any flavors available to your sweetest desire.
