1246 Main Street, Arctic, West Warwick
(401) 821-9849

This is the third location for Ferrucci's Original New York System, and hopefully the last. The first was located on Main Street, in an existing restaurant taken over by Michael Ferrucci from his in-laws in 1994. When that building burned down in 2000, the business moved to 99 Washington Street.

On February 2, 2006, Ferrucci and his wife, Donna, opened the current incarnation of the System in a brand new building—the first new retail building in Arctic in twenty years. Unlike the previous location, which we described as "blue-collar," the new space is sparkling clean, roomy, and well-lit. The menu hasn't changed much, though. You can still get American chop suey, red and white chowder (on Fridays), cacoila (marinated Portuguese beef) sandwiches, the New York System Burger (loaded with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, mushrooms, and bacon), and of course their award-winning weiners (topped with Ferrucci's secret seven-spice meat sauce). Wash them all down with a tall glass of coffee milk, and love it.

Ferrucci's is open Monday to Thursday, 6am-7pm; Friday, 6am-8pm; Saturday, 7am-7pm; and Sunday, 8am-1pm. Breakfast is served every day until 11:30am.
