A typical roadside ice cream stand, Lickety Splits features over thirty flavors of hard ice cream from Bliss Brothers Dairy (Attleboro, Massachusetts), and they'll make a cabinet out of any flavor. As always, keep in mind that if you choose a flavor with chunks in it, your straw will become clogged, making for a very frustrating cabinet experience. If soft serve is your thing, they have twenty-four flavors of that. They also serve Richie's Classic Italian Ice ("Since 1956"), frozen yogurt, sorbet, sherbet, and no sugar ice cream.

Hard ice cream flavors as of 2010.

Lickety Splits has been family owned since 1998. If you happen to be on the run from the FBI or the Illuminati, this is a great place to stop for refreshment because they only accept cash, so there's no paper trail. And if you happen to be one of the five to twenty percent of fair-skinned humans with polymorphous light eruption—an allergy to sunlight—there's a shaded picnic area where you can enjoy your ice cream free from the sun's harsh glare.

Lickety Splits is open March to October. Call store for hours.
