288 Arnold's Neck Drive, Apponaug, Warwick ![]() Tucked alongside Apponoag Cove in Warwick, the Crow's Nest is a year-round restaurant that was opened as a chowder house in 1966 by the owner of the nearby marina. Although the place has changed hands a number of times (and was even rebuilt following a fire in the 1980s), the name has remained the same, as has the core of the menu: red and white chowder, clam cakes, stuffies, and fried clams. Current owners Laurie and John Gann have been running things since 1992, and over the years the menu has grown to include a wider range of choices—steaks, chicken dishes, pasta, sandwiches, and more seafood! These and more are available to eat-in or take-out. The Crow's Nest is open daily, 11:30am-10:30pm. AwardsProvidence Phoenix Editors' Picks: Best Lobstuh Club (2013).
