It took us some time to get around to sampling jonny cakes at the Station House, mostly because of bad timing—the Station House is only open for breakfast and lunch, Tuesday through Sunday—but the wait was worth it. The Station House serves "authentic South County jonny cakes, made with white flint corn meal," measuring about 4 to 4.5 inches across, and of medium thickness. Unlike some places where we've ordered jonny cakes, these were ready very quickly. Slathered in butter and drizzled with a little bit of syrup, they disappeared just as fast.

The only other Rhode Island-specific things on the Station House menu are grinders, but there are plenty of non-Rhode Island-specific choices, as well.
