Suzie, Sunapee, New Hampshire

In the by-gone days of the late '50s and early '60s my very best friend, Billy, and I watched "The Salty Brine Show" (except in our childish Massachusetts accents it came out "The Salty Bry'yaan Show"). Well Vietnam came and went and high school graduation came and went and marriages (to other people) and children and friends all came and went (ummm that is... graduation came and went in the case of the children) and finally after forty years I got the nerve to call my very-best-friend Billy and we're getting together sometime this year (2013) some forty years since we last saw each other at high school graduation. Want to know the last thing I asked him before I hung up on that memorable phone call in December... "Sure I'd love to come for a visit... Do you suppose we could watch Salty Brine??" Of course he got it right away... such a charmed childhood we had.
